Sitram Profiserie Stainless Steel 2.1-Quart Open Saucier Pan

Nice pan ... heats very fast, and very hot ...
Very nice pan for ~25 smackers (has since increased in price) ... actually made in France ... Looks well made, is well balanced, SS is nicely finished, and curved bottom/sides work well with a whisk. Bottom is very flat (not 100% perfect, but for the price, adequate). Would purchase again for price/performance.

Update after more use: The bottom of this thing transfers heat incredibly well -- very fast heat up, and a much lower burner setting is required to get the same effect as many other pans on a higher setting. Only thing is that since the bottom curves up so fast (saucier-style), the bottom aluminum disk isn't very big compared to the pan's overall diameter (and the sides beyond that are single-layer stainless), though this hasn't been a problem for me so far.

Yeah!!!! No Rivets
The size is perfect for meals for one or two. The pan works well on a gas stove; you can be gentle with the temperature. I look forward to slowly replacing my stainless steel pieces with non-riveted versions from this collection. Also, this is a heck of a lot cheaper than Demeyere!!

Great quality bargain!
This saucier, made in France, is a wonderful bargain for the price! Nice stainless steel, rounded bottom, and long handle that stays cool to touch. I love to cook but I'm not a pot/knife snob; I just want decent quality for great prices so that I can spend more dollars on cooking! Very happy with this purchase!
