Zojirushi CW-PZC22FC Micom Super Boiler 2.2L, Floral

The boiler is easy-to-use and quite reliable
We have already had a similar boiler (of the same brand) at home for several years. It is very easy-to-use, quite reliable, and very well-suited for a household whose members love tea and instant coffee. Due to this reason, we decide to buy a second one (whose price is very reasonable at Amazon.com). The only thing you need to pay attention is that you need to remember to fill the boiler with water when the water is about to run out.

Not perfect
I bought mine quite more than 3 yrs ago at a much lower price from Amazon. It boils a full pot pretty fast and the quality is good. However, it seems to not create enough pressure to force a good amount of the water out when you press the pump; you sort of have to quickly pump a few times to build up the pressure. This could be related to the fact the lid isn't perfectly tight, so some of the pressure may just escape when you press the pump. I'm not sure if it's just a design flaw or quality control issue.

Own it for 8 years
Brought two at the same time in 2002. Parent's broke a little after a year and mine is still working. The pump stopped working in 2009 and I replaced several related parts at an authorized dealer for $35 total. When it was brand now, two pumps would fill a standard cup. But since 2004, quite a few extra pumps to do the same. I would purchase again. This model can be available for approx 60-70 + tax in retail Chinatown stores in SF and NYC.
