Best there is
For three reasons:
1) The no-stick surface is suberb, in most cases you do not even need spray oil yet things just slide right out. DuPont makes 3 teflon coatings and only the top can be labeled DuPont and this one is the first I have seen. By the way even with no stick you still get some frond.
2) They recommend that after use you immediately run it under cold water in order to best preserve the coating! I held my breath and did it. Bravo, seems like nothing can warp that thick cast aluminum.
3) It survives a 450 degree oven. Saute salmon or steak to get a thin crisp crust and then shove into that hot oven to finish it off. This allows you to maintain even doneness throughout the meat's thickness.
No other brand will be bought for my kitchen and that even includes Swiss Diamond, the previous best.

Great non stick pan
This is a wonderful pan - I replaced my original one that I bought many years ago, because I wasn't too careful and used regular forks when turning the food - and that knicked up the bottom of the pan. I am being very careful with my new pan. The heat is distributed evenly in this pan, and it really cooks great!
